Rabbi Shergill is one of the world's most distinctive South Asian independent musicians, known for blending Punjabi folk/ Sufi poetry with rock music & a sound texture that is uniquely his own. With songs that have become part of the country's musical landscape and a career defined by artistic independence, his work continues to resonate across generations.

At Shaam-e-Rekhta, Rabbi brings his signature voice and evocative songwriting to the stage for an evening of music shaped by lyrical depth, introspection and the enduring power of storytelling.

The show takes the audience on a compelling audiovisual journey through the golden era of Urdu poets, who wrote these timeless lyrics that continue to inspire and complement all our moods even today.

The show aims to highlight the invaluable role these poets have played in shaping the music and lyrics that define Bollywood's cinematic history, taking the audience on a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

No. 19 and 20 September are separate ticketed performances. Your ticket is valid only for the date you select at checkout. Both evenings feature the same lineup and performances. If you'd like to attend both, you'll need to purchase a ticket for each date.

Tickets are available exclusively through Ticketmaster, where you can select your seats during checkout. Ticket changes, upgrades, and accessible seating are subject to Ticketmaster's policies and availability. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Group bookings and corporate enquiries can be made by contacting us directly.

Doors open at 4:00 PM, and we recommend arriving 30–45 minutes early. The evening begins at 4:30 PM and concludes around 9:00 PM, with a short intermission. Late entry and re-entry are subject to the venue's policies.

Not at all. Shaam-e-Rekhta is designed for anyone who appreciates music, storytelling and live performances. The evening features Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English, making it accessible to a wide audience. Families are welcome, and every attendee requires a valid ticket.

The Living Arts Centre is wheelchair accessible, with accessible seating available through Ticketmaster. Parking is available at or near the venue (charges, if any, are determined by the venue). Food and beverages may be available for purchase. Professional photography, videography, audio recording and live streaming are not permitted without prior approval.
